IT Analyst - EDI

Mississauga, ON

 The Opportunity:

We require a seasoned Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Professional with integration knowledge in SAP.  The successful candidate will join our Information Solutions (IS) team based in Mississauga, ON.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Delivery of system solutions related to EDI, including full system lifecycle of business process requirements gathering, solution design and build.
  • Create EDI Maps
  • Work with Business and outside parties to develop EDI solutions.
  • Troubleshoot EDI problems
  • Research and deploy Upgrades
  • Gain SAP Functional knowledge
  • End-to-end system integration with user acceptance testing and go-live.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, configuration documentation, standard
  • Operating procedures and other documentation as required during and after executing on Implementation tasks.
  • Participate in regular sessions focusing on in-depth understanding of business process
  • Gather Requirements, accept challenges, and review issues while providing post implementation support.
    • Prepare material and provide training to end users.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience implementing EDI.
  • Working knowledge of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
  • Working knowledge of IBM Sterling map editor.
  • Able to work alone with little direction.
  • Working knowledge of SAP an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Business an asset
  • Excel / Word asset
  • Supporting users both during business and after hours.
  • Good communication skills and outstanding end-user interaction.
  • Proven ability to work in collaborative team environment or, if needed, independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Post-Secondary Graduate in Computer Science, Business or Engineering.
