Shift Details: Must be able to work varying and flexible hours until job complete (approximate hours Monday and Tuesday – 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. for approximately 10 hours, Friday and Saturday - 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. for approximately 10 hours)

Position Summary
We are seeking dependable, motivated individual to join our Inovo team. The successful applicant will be responsible for transferring eggs from incubators to hatchers while ensuring proper SOP, vaccination, inspection, sanitation and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up of inovo equipment
  • Safely pull incubator racks and transport them to the transfer room using appropriate equipment
  • Remove eggs from incubator buggies to place into inovo equipment
  • Operate inovo equipment to vaccinate and transfer eggs
  • Wash buggies and egg flats
  • Remove and stacking full hatch trays
  • Load hatch tray stacks into hatchers
  • Sanitation of inovo equipment
  • Sanitation of work area
  • Other duties as assigned

What’s in it for you?
  • $22.84 - $23.84 per hour (based on progression)
  • All PPE is provided to employees (Boot Reimbursement of $125 after 3 months of service)
 


Qualifications
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Must understand and follow all Animal Welfare/PCP/Biosecurity procedures
  • Proven ability in current position (attendance included)
  • Must be committed to working as a team or individually
  • Must be able to work in small groups with minimal supervision
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Must be capable of standing for long periods
  • Must be able to move full setter racks of eggs
  • Must be able to lift 40 – 50 lbs. repetitively overhead
  • Must be able to work in a wet/humid environment
  • Proven ability to follow SOP’s and schedules
  • Must be available to work Statutory Holidays
