The Opportunity:
The Manager, People Change and HR Enablement, reports directly to the SVP, People and is responsible for supporting and enabling people-related change initiatives that advance the organization’s People strategy and business priorities. It will help drive structured people, change management practices and ensure initiatives are adopted, sustained and drive value. In parallel the role acts as a strategic execution partner to the SVP, People, helping to translate priorities into action, advancing People Strategy with clarity, rigor, and measurable outcomes and supporting alignment across the People function.
This position requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex work.

Lead People Change for Major Initiatives
- Lead the people change strategy for large HR and enterprise initiatives that impact structure, talent, culture, systems, or ways of working.
- Develop clear change plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, risk mitigation, communication plans, and adoption measures.
- Assess organizational readiness and identify risks early to support smooth implementation.
- Partner with senior leaders to ensure strong sponsorship and accountability for people change outcomes.
- Track adoption and results to ensure changes are sustained and deliver value.
Enable HR Strategy Execution & Provide Strategic Support to the SVP, People
- Act as a trusted partner in advancing key People Strategy priorities.
- Translate enterprise and People strategy into clear HR priorities and actionable plans.
- Align efforts across Centres of Excellence, HRBPs, HR Services to ensure coordinated execution.
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies across HR initiatives and support timely decision-making.
- Prepare clear, concise materials and insights for leadership discussions and executive meetings.
- Strengthen planning, governance, and tracking within the HR function.
- Help shape clear messaging around people related topics (talent, culture, engagement, compensation and workforce strategy etc.).
- Synthesize complex information into straightforward insights for senior leaders.
- Support executive communications related to major People initiatives.
Build Change Capability & Improve HR Effectiveness
- Develop and maintain a practical change playbook, tools, and templates for use across HR initiatives.
- Support HR leaders with practical guidance to help their teams adopt change successfully.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve change practices.
- Strengthen HR’s overall ability to lead and sustain people change.
What You’ll Bring:
- Progressive experience leading HR transformation, change management, strategy execution, or program management.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and bring structure to ambiguous situations.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and executive presence.

The above compensation reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Maple Leaf’s annual short-term incentive plan.
