The Opportunity:
The National Account Manager of Multi Units in Canada is an exciting opportunity to work in our Foodservice team and help advance our credo to ‘build a growth culture, rooted in fundamentals and discipline, with superior customer partnerships’. Reporting to the Director of Multi Units Foodservice Canada, this person is a highly entrepreneurial leader that is passionate about customers and has a proven ability to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with large partners. They have a track record of building businesses from the ground up, by leveraging their deep customer relationships, participating in and leading product ideation and price discovery, and managing newly built businesses on a go-forward basis (including P&L management). The successful candidate will have existing relationships with broadline distributor partners that can be leveraged to help ensure success.
The position requires a highly motivated individual to work with a fast-paced team with aspirations for continued growth and improvement. They will be expected to increase our revenue, volume and profit. They should have the ability to develop sound recommendations rooted in facts and data while engaging with appropriate cross-functional partners. This individual needs to be ambitious, humble, and highly collaborative as they will help guide conversations internally and externally with various stakeholders to solve problems and grow our business. They should have a solid sales foundation and be able to critically think and be capable of solving problems associated with critical growth initiatives.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Work directly with Multi Unit Director to prepare for, attend and lead key customer meetings.
- Potential customers that candidates will have the opportunity to interact with: A&W, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Chick fil a, Chipotle, Recipe Unlimited, MTY Group, Osmow’s, Wild Wing, McDonalds, Tim Horton’s, A&W, Pizza Nova, Pizza Pizza, Popeye’s, Subway, Mr. Sub, KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell etc.
- Manage day to day business and lead Canadian multi-unit foodservice customer relationships, both existing and prospective.
- Establish and steward long-term, value-based partnerships that deliver mutual growth and margin expansion.
- Translate customer strategies into clear enterprise priorities and actionable commercial plans.
- Provide Fact Based insights and analysis for strategic recommendations to grow our business with key customers.
- Leverage deep operator and distributor relationships to ensure disciplined execution across the value chain.
- Participate in the creation of new menu items for key customers, collaborating with marketing and product development
- Model high-performance leadership behaviors and contribute to a results-oriented, growth-focused culture.
- Own and deliver Foodservice commercial P&L performance, including volume, net sales, gross profit, trade investment, and SG&A.
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and top 2 top business review processes.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of commercial opportunities with clear financial outcomes and timelines.
- Provide forward-looking operating plan, margin, and initiative-level P&L projections to grow our business.
- Partner with cross functional teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives with customers, and internal stakeholders (ie. Pricing, Product Development, Fulfillment, Marketing, Revenue Management)
What You’ll Bring:
- Sales experience, with a proven track record of building and establishing customer relationships.
- Proven track record of delivering sustained, profitable growth in complex environments.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership.
- Ability to influence and align senior cross-functional stakeholders.
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, storytelling, and decision-making skills.
- High integrity, strong accountability, and a disciplined, strategic mindset.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business or Project Management.
- 8+ years’ experience in a related field.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications.
