Senior Specialist, HRIS & Data Analytics - Contract

Mississauga - Financial Dr., ON

 The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, the Senior Specialist, HRIS & Data Analytics will be responsible for analyzing HR data, generating insights, and assisting in the development and optimization of HR processes. They will play a key role in translating data into actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Base Salary:    $69,000 - $104,000 CAD base pay annually

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze HR data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to workforce metrics, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and more. Create and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings to HR and business leaders.​
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and automation, leveraging HR technology and data analytics. ​
  • Data Governance: Assist in establishing and maintaining data governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security, contributing to data cleanup and standardization efforts.​
  • HR Projects: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support HR projects including initiatives related to HR technology, system upgrades, and process changes. ​
  • Compliance and Reporting: Assist in generating compliance reports and ensuring that HR data and reporting comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. ​
  • HRIS Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for the organization's HRIS platform, providing support to HR users and preparing for a new system implementation.​
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate and up-to-date documentation related to HRIS processes, data sources, and analytics methodologies.​

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or another related field.​
  • Proven and recurring success in HR data analytics and HRIS support. ​
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel) and experience with HRIS, SuccessFactors preferred.​ PowerBi experience and competency required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.​
  • Knowledge of HR processes and metrics.​
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.​
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.​
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.​
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work.​
