HR COORDINATOR
Landmark, MB (20 KM south of Winnipeg, MB)
Position Summary: Reporting to the People Leader, the Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible for a wide variety of Human Resource services for Maple Leaf Agri-Farms supporting locations in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will do:
Kronos Lead
Ensure all data is accurate and updated in Kronos system
Ensure system is being used properly
Provide education/training to users on system
SAP Lead
Ensure all data is accurate and updated in SAP system
New Hires
Setup new hires in all required systems
Maintain orientation presentations
Benefits
Process hourly benefit setup and changes for hourly employees
Prepare benefit packages for hourly employees
Respond and manage employee inquiries pertaining to all benefit programs
Leaves
Manage all legislative and non-legislative leaves for hourly employees and return to work programs
Reporting
Provide weekly and monthly reporting as required
Recognition Program
Administration of the hourly and salary years of service award distribution
Yearend processes related to payroll
Maintain all employee files
Backup coverage for recruiting of hourly positions
Assist with projects and events for MLAF
Other tasks as assigned
What you will bring:
Human Resources Diploma/Certificate
Experience as Human Resources Coordinator or elevated Administrator role
Experience and/or working knowledge of Human Resource practices
Working knowledge of Manitoba and Saskatchewan employment legislation
Experience with SAP considered an asset
Experience with Kronos considered an asset
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a high performing team
Ability to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail
Must possess excellent skills in:
Relationship-building
Oral and written communication
Organization and time management
Problem solving and troubleshooting
Ability to travel for meetings within Manitoba & Saskatchewan
Valid class 5 driver’s license
