The Data Administrator is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day administrative activities for multiple barn sites located within the pyramid. This position requires the person to be part of a team working towards specific production goals and is based in a barn setting.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compilation, completion, and submission of inventory and reporting functions
Completion and submission of farm supply orders
Coordination of maintenance requirements and scheduling
Assist the Manager, Hog Barn/Sr. Specialist, Hog Production as required
Responsible for Health and Safety scheduling, checklists, equipment, training, SCBA
Record and distribute meeting minutes
Interview scheduling and new hire orientation paperwork submissions to HR
Assist with CQA audit preparation
Work with Information Solutions to assist with trials, updates, and equipment upgrades
Assist with general barn duties and administrative duties as required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High degree of attention to detail
Highly accurate data entry
Proficiency in MS Office programs, thorough working knowledge of Excel is required
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
High school diploma
Experience with hog production record keeping system an asset
Ability to live our Maple Leaf Leadership Values
