Health & Safety Supervisor – Winnipeg
The Heath & Safety Supervisor will play an integral role within our manufacturing facilities. You will lead by example and inspire your team to deliver top results. You are passionate about safety and will promote a positive culture where safety comes first. You thrive in an environment that is fast paced and have a keen sense for continuous improvement. Your approach is collaborative and offer a forum where everyone feels comfortable to bring forward new ideas.
A snap shot of some of the exciting things you will do:
Support the Health & Safety Manager in overlooking the day to day functions of the Health and Safety department
Lead and coach a team of Health & Safety Coordinators on delivering business results, professional development and performance management
Lead, evaluate and develop leading edge Safety programs
Audit safety systems, conduct gap analysis and take initiative to ensure performance meets legislative and company standards
Collaborate with cross functional teams
Foster a positive employee relations culture by treating all employees with respect, listening to their concerns and provide a timely response where needed

What you will bring:
Post-Secondary education preferred
Experience in emergency services, health care or manufacturing is an asset
Supervisory experience is an asset
Personable demeanor with strong communication skills
Progressive leader and team player
System savvy and very comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools
