  • Providing day to day direction to department employees.
  • Temporary backfill of Warehouse Supervisors and Order Planner when required (vacation, illness, vacancy).
  • Ensuring proper and adequate training of department employees.
  • Evaluation, coaching and counseling of department employees.
  • Appropriate communication with internal and external suppliers and customers.
  • Effective communication with Warehouse Supervisors, Employees, Order Planner , Distribution Sr. Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment through safety awareness, practice, and promotion.
  • Responsible for executing SAP EWM transactions around checking-in shipments, creating warehouse tasks and warehouse orders, assessing product availability of orders, update orders as required, assign process codes for shorts and generating all shipping related documentation
  •   Management of annual Shipping office supplies inventory
  •  Invoice and maintain orders and inventory for third party storage facilities
  •  Investigation of all shipping related claims and shipping short reporting
  •   Investigate and rectify Customer issues on a daily basis
  • All other duties as assigned by Management.

  • Proven ability in current position (attendance included).
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Related experience in managing or coaching.
  • Related department experience (direct or indirect i.e. shipping, reports, etc.)
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • Computer skills.
