The Opportunity:
The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Pork leadership team. You are highly organized, professional and a strong problem-solver. You understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders. You are proactive, progressive and exhibit a high degree of initiative.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Extensive calendar management, including arranging meetings, monitoring events and resolving conflicts
- Arrange travel schedules (including personal) and associated arrangements
- Liaise with internal and external business and administrative contacts, creating positive and mutually beneficial working relationships
- Assist with the preparation of business reports, presentations and other documents as required
- Process payments through the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system
- Provide general administrative support including maintaining department distribution lists and managing Shared Drive or Teams access/approvals
- Manage relationships with vendors providing office-related services such as coffee and vending, ergonomic support, office supplies and printer/copier paper
- Mail Room Set up and operations
- Prepare and submit travel and expense reports for the leadership team accurately and on a timely basis
- Plan and co-ordinate offsite meetings, group, project and team events when required
- Oversee routine facility maintenance ensuring building systems are functioning properly and addressing issues promptly
- Provide support for projects and special assignments as required
- Review incoming correspondence and sorting based on importance and attention required
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding process, including the setup and coordination of office space, access cards and any facility related needs
- Any other responsibilities as assigned to help support the Pork Complex Leadership team.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10 years of previous experience supporting a senior leaders in a major corporation
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Ability to operate independently with strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and/or requests in a fast paced changing environment with limited daily direction
- High energy, positive outlook and results driven with an interest in taking ownership and assuming accountability
- This position requires exceptional MS Office suite skills (Email, Calendar, PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and the ability to learn new systems as required
- A team player with a disciplined, self-directed, mature, professional approach to their work
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong knowledge of administrative processes and internal resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality where required
