A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do:
• Oversee inedible and waste rooms
• Ensure inedible, waste and recycling are properly segregated
• Ensure inedible and waste rooms are cleaned in timely manner
• Inspect equipment and enter work orders when required
• Train inedible and waste room employees and backups on inedible and waste procedures
• Provide direction and feedback to inedible and waste room employees
• Liaise with production supervisors and assistant supervisors to ensure adequate staffing in place and ensure tasks completed as required
• Monitor recycling trailers and compactors fill levels, communicate if extra pickups are required
• Participate in wastewater and byproducts activities as required

• Experience in inedible and waste room procedures
• Self-starter, flexible, team player, willing and able to work on a wide variety of tasks
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
• Strong communicator
• Tow motor license required
