Machine Operator – Day Shift

💵 Pay: $19.00 – $21.00/hour

Maple Leaf / Greenleaf Foods is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. If you're reliable, safety-focused, and ready to grow with a company that's shaping the future of food, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment for food production
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company procedures
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Record accurate data (weights, measurements) to meet Quality Management System (QMS) standards
Set up, inspect, and adjust equipment for production runs
Report equipment issues promptly to supervisors or maintenance
Help minimize waste and improve efficiency
Support team communication during daily shift exchange meetings
Assist with onboarding and training new team members
Cross-train in other departments as needed
Communicate suggestions for improving safety, quality, and processes
Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

High School Diploma or GED
Manufacturing or food industry experience (preferred but not required)
Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and written policies
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, or bending
Team player mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
