As a senior member of the Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst is a key member in the financial reporting for the Poultry business segment.  The scope of this role includes managing the bi-weekly Vitals and monthly Flash process, assisting in the period, quarterly and year-end reporting requirements and the preparation of the monthly MCR.


  • Completion of bi-weekly vitals forecast
  • Analyzing results and variances for reporting, includes validation of system interfaces and selected MCR schedule review
  • Assisting in the period/quarter/year-end close process, includes completion of select MCR schedules & quarterly/year-end deliverables
  • Key point of contact for Financial Reporting related queries
  • Manage restructuring reporting process – includes ensuring that costs are properly accounted for in SAP through to the external financial statements.
  • Manage budget process – includes leading preparation of all budget reporting deliverables
  • Prepare Executive Committee Forecast for working capital & related cause of change
  • Coordinate & consolidate quarterly Sales & EBIT analyses
  • Process review and proactive continuous improvement
  • Key contact for external auditors including preparation of responses to quarterly questions
  • Perform ad hoc financial accounting analysis and financial reports as required
  • Other duties and special projects, as required (significant part of the role)
  • Hold an Accounting Designation
  • Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others

  • Detailed oriented person
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A manufacturing/CPG(production) background would be an asset
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and be a dedicated team player
  • Experience with BPC, BA, and/or SAP is an asset.
