Working closely with Walmart Business Development Team and cross-functional business partners, this role is not only responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), regional trends, de-lists, inventory flow, etc., it is also responsible for identifying issues and opportunities related to the Walmart business as measured by Retail Link.  In addition, the Business Analyst, will be responsible for updating and designing processes, reports and tools; as well as managing communication to achieve Retail Link KPIs.


  • Manage the generation and upkeep of all weekly business reports required to analyze the Walmart business
  • Measure and determine causal factors of identified KPI’s including:  $POS sales, unit sales, regional performance, waste, in-stocks, on-hands, distribution, innovation and de-lists
  • Create new reports as needed to evaluate the evolving business
  • Be the in-house Retail Link expert, charged with training new hires on tools and processes related to Retail Link
  • Handle ad hoc requests from the broader Customer Business Team to help address relevant business needs
  • Support Account Team with the generation of promotional orders for all Walmart promotions.  Perform post promotional event analysis and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage new store list and communication
  • Track performance and contribution to sales of innovation and de-lists
  • Complete the Sales Director’s bi-weekly meeting template
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) including advance level Excel experience
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to gain and communicate key insights
  • Working knowledge and use of Retail Link is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, demanding work environment
  • Highly organized, fact-based and detail oriented
