The Opportunity:
The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Poultry Complex team with financial reporting, analysis, ad hoc requests, building and analyzing P&L while also owning overall reporting, consolidation, and automation across all channels.
With a focus on data ownership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, this role partners closely with Poultry business leaders to deliver clear insights and explanations of results. The Senior Finance Analyst also plays a key role in the budget process and contributes across all phases of the financial cycle.

Reporting, Consolidation & Automation
- Own the consolidated financial reporting across all channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery for senior leadership and corporate reporting needs
- Streamline and standardize reporting packages, dashboards, and key metrics to support decision-making at the channel and complex level
- Drive automation initiatives in reporting and forecasting processes to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance data accuracy
- Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to design and implement reporting tools that enable deeper insights and visibility into business performance
- Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to align with evolving business needs and support more strategic analysis
Business Partnering & Financial Support
- Act as the business financial expert to drive financial insights through effective communication and partnership
- Work with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management and Accounting
- Lead and analyze the brand and customer P&L to monitor performance and guide with business decisions
- Provide support in Gross Profit reporting and forecasting (month, quarter, annual, budget)
- Provide financial insights related to volume/mix and rate variances to drive Customer Sku Profitability and margin
- Understand and proactively communicate financial drivers to maximize gross margin
- Build and analyze P&Ls for new product launches and evaluate the financial impact of key business initiatives or features
- Ad hoc analysis and special projects as required
What You’ll Bring:
- Post-secondary education in a finance or business related program
- Completion (or near completion) of professional accounting designation program is an asset
- 5 years of value add analytical experience (previous experience supporting sales and marketing a must)
- Experience with SAP, Power BI and Power Queries an asset
- Ability to effectively analyze and present data to make recommendations
- Initiative to make impactful decisions with little to no supervision
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented
- Analytical proficiency, business judgment, modelling and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities/stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
