The Opportunity:
This is a pivotal role enabling a high-performing Canadian Sales team by partnering closely with the SVP of Sales, the Canadian Sales Leadership Team (CSLT), and the Canadian Commercial Leadership Team (CCLT). You will lead the development and execution of sales strategies, performance management systems, and customer engagement processes that fuel growth and strengthen strategic partnerships

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Management
- Drive core sales rhythms, operational disciplines, and performance scorecards across the team.
- Lead the development and execution of sales strategy, annual planning, innovation, and in-market execution.
- Oversee key operational processes including S&OP, fill rate, and day-to-day business management.
Customer Leadership
- Develop a coordinated, Tier One customer approach that integrates internal capabilities and consumer plans into customer strategies.
- Improve customer satisfaction, enhance Advantage survey performance, and deliver sustained volume and profit growth.
Performance Management
- Ensure the team has the right tools, resources, and insights to deliver results.
- Identify and resolve gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in tools and processes.
- Monitor key deliverables (e.g., innovation launches, distribution gaps, market share, budget adherence) and lead corrective action planning in partnership with Customer Business Teams (CBTs).
Lead the VOICE Process
- Oversee the VOICE process, ensuring action items are clear, progress is tracked, and accountability is enforced.
- Partner with action owners to remove barriers and drive momentum.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring alignment across Marketing, Poultry, Supply Chain, Insights & Analytics, and Manufacturing.
- Lead supply allocation strategies reflective of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Align marketing and manufacturing plans with customer strategies.
Best Practice Development
- Lead the evolution of a commercial Playbook that balances customer and consumer strategies and focuses on actionable insights.
- Champion key commercial processes including Joint Business Planning, Customer Account Planning (CAP), and innovation execution.
- Streamline internal collaboration and reduce one-off sales-marketing meetings.
Team Leadership
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
- Drive accountability and excellence in execution.
