The HR Coordinator plays an integral role within our manufacturing facility. You will be the coach on the playing field, providing support and guidance to our team members. You are passionate about safety and promote a culture where safety comes first. You thrive in an environment that is fast paced and have a keen sense for continuous improvement.
A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do:
- Responsible for leading hourly hiring activities – recruitment, interviewing, orientation
- Coordination and administration of leaves, layoffs and terminations
- Manage hourly attendance program
- Ensure all hourly MSS transactions are accurate and completed
- Administration of benefits and pension enrolment - assist employees with forms as well as answering inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Actively facilitates and contributes to plant initiatives
- Run weekly and monthly reports and metrics, ie., turnover %, attendance, etc.
- Works with HR Manager on labour relations issues
- Aid in identifying training and development opportunities and optimal delivery methods
- Work with various corporate departments including payroll, compensation and benefits, and HR services team to ensure needs of our employees are met
- Assist and provide coverage for payroll completion activities and inquiries
- Other duties and assignments as required

What you will bring:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, within a manufacturing environment would be an asset
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and opportunities, translating these into clear and effective actionable
goals while creating an environment of continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- System savvy and very comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools
