Position:    Shipper/Receiver
Area:     Shipping/Receiving
Starting Pay:    Level 4 ($18.63/hour)
Shift:   Day Shift (8:00AM-4:30PM)
Number of Positions:   1
    
Qualifications Required:
Equipment & Trouble Shooting Skills:
• Full knowledge of shipping / receiving functions
• Responsible for material and supplies receiving and coordination to applicable departments
• Coordinate with Scheduler / Purchasing all transportation requirements
• Shipping of all products and the completion of all forms
• Completion of all receiving reports, paper work and submission to applicable departments (Purchasing and Finance)
• Maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO) and complete housekeeping / QA responsibilities.
• Functional in BPCS/UNIVERSE/SAP and barcode scanning
• Use of RF Scanner
• Create and attach shipping labels to Pallets, scan information into BPCS/UNIVERSE/SAP System and submit copy of labels and report to Finance 
• Maintaining a clean and tidy Pallet storage area and repairing of damaged pallets.
• Inventory control & reporting
• Work will require certification and operation of MHE (Mechanized Handling Equipment - Counterbalance/Reach Truck/Pallet Truck) – certification training will be provided if required
• Count and record Inventory
• Ability to make decisions, anticipate problems and make appropriate changes
• Ability to establish priorities in their work area
• All other duties as required
• Ability to work all shifts
 
Quality & Food Safety Skills:
• Ensure HACCP and Food Safety prerequisites are maintained at all times and associated documentation is accurate and up to date
• Thorough, accurate, and neat completion of forms for HACCP & Quality Assurance Product quality checks against customer and internal specifications
• Ability to maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to wear proper VPP and comply with HACCP and Food Safety requirements
Health and Safety:
• Demonstrated ability to wear proper PPE and comply with safety requirements
• Work may be performed in a slippery / wet and/or very cold environment
• Pulling, pushing, twisting, bending, heavy lifting and standing
• Safe operation of MHE

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
